Quick answer

The cheapest legal way in is the annual Digitaal basis offer at €0.99 a week for the first 12 months. Dutch university students should check Nexis Uni through their library first.

Questions

Partly. Articles without a yellow T label are free to read, and those with the T are for subscribers. Unlimited access starts at €0.99 a week for the first year on an annual plan.

The regular price is €3.69 a week for Digitaal basis and €6.35 a week for Digitaal extra, which adds the digital newspaper. New subscribers pay €0.99 or €1.99 a week for the first 12 months on an annual plan.

We could not confirm it. Many Dutch public libraries offer PressReader, which you activate on the library's wifi for a few days of reading at home, but we found no current library page listing De Telegraaf in it. University students can read Telegraaf articles in Nexis Uni.

We found no student or youth rate on the official offer page in November 2026. The annual Digitaal basis intro offer at €0.99 a week is the cheapest option.

We found no sign that it is. In 2022 Mediahuis, which publishes De Telegraaf, did not take part in Blendle, and almost none of the big Dutch newspapers were left on it.
