What we record

  • Finder lookups: the link or headline you entered, the outlet it belongs to, and how many matches we found. We use this to measure and improve matching. We don't record your IP address with it.
  • Clicks: when you click a result or a guide link, we record the kind of link and the page you were on, without your IP address.
  • Feedback: if you tell us whether a match was right.

Cookies

We set one cookie, ar_na, only when you arrive through a partner link. It lasts one day and makes sure you see the same version of our pages during your visit. We use no tracking cookies of our own.

If we show Google ads on guide pages, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and change your ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Our hosting

Our web host and our network provider (Cloudflare) keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We don't combine these logs with the records above.

Other sites

When you follow a link to another outlet, library or offer, that site's own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep things

Lookup and click records are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Headlines from free outlets' feeds are kept for 30 days.
